Adel Visser, CMKBD is owner of All About Kitchens & more!, a kitchen, bath, and space design studio in Sacramento. Adel is known for her distinctive and functional designs. Adel holds both a bachelors and masters degree in Housing and Equipment (Home Economics) & Business Administration. Adel earned CKD and CBD accreditation from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) early in her career and later earned Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD) in 2021. She also earned her Certified Interior Designer (CID), which is a California certification in 2005.
She has been actively involved in the Capital Chapter of the NKBA since its inception, serving as Vice President Programs for two years. In January, she was awarded 2nd place in the Sacramento Capital Chapter NKBA design contest. In April 2010 she was awarded third place in the National Kitchen and Bath design contest, Art of the Industry, for a Powder Room design. In January 2010, she swept the local NKBA California Capital Chapter design contest and took home eight first, second and third place design awards. She has previously been honored with an honorable mention from the National NKBA Design Competition in 2000.
Adel has participated in numerous local kitchen and home tours, including designing a laundry room for the Sacramento Jr. League in 2004. She has been published numerous times both locally and nationally. She has served as a judge for the Sacramento Chapter of the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI) Contractor of the Year (COTY) awards. “Creating a room that really works for a client is a thrill,” Adel states. “Timeless design is a result of integrating clients’ needs, preferences, lifestyle and personality with good universal design and ergonomic principles.”
